My mom had an in home daycare when I was in the eight grade up until my senior year of high school, and I would always help out with the children when I wasn't in school. I helped her care for children from 6 weeks up to 13 years old. I've always enjoyed children and I want to be a teacher after I earn my music education and American Sign Language degrees. I am CPR certified, although, it is probably time for me to update my certification. I am nearly 20 years old and a sophomore in college. I am blind and hard of hearing, but I have learned to work around these obstacles to care for the kids who were under my care. I also worked in the nursery at my church and helped run VBS.
