Hi! My name is Kristen Epstein. I am originally from Northwest Arkansas where I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and then a Masters of Art in Teaching. For the past three years, I have lived in Shanghai, China teaching early childhood education. Before that, I worked for four years in a childcare center, taking care of children age 15 months to 5 years. One of my favorite quotes is by Rita Pierson who said, “Every child deserves a champion—an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.” I understand the importance of the actions and words of adults in a child's life, and I work hard to create a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for children to grow and explore.
