I have worked with children of all ages since I was 18. I started out as an AVID tutor for the Garden Grove School District helping children between the ages of 12 and 18 with all subject matter. I then moved on to become a youth development professional with the Boys and Girls Club of Garden Grove, where I developed activities and lesson plans for my group of children in this after school program. I was with the Boys and Girls club for about a year, until my husband and I moved to Arizona. I now work for a company called MIKID where I work with troubled youth on coping mechanisms and skills to correct behavioral issues that will allow children to function and succeed in spite of their diagnoses.
