I babysat a wonderful little boy when I was 13-16 years old and he was 2-5 years old. He was Autistic, so I have a few years experience with working with special needs children. I babysat him on weekends, and would make him dinner, bathe him, play with him, read him as many stories as he wanted and put him to sleep. I have also regularly babysat my niece and two nephews who are 8, 10 and 12 years old for the past 8 years; my 10-year-old nephew is also autistic (Asperger's Syndrome). I have spent as much as a week's time caring for them from when they get up in the morning until bed time. Currently I am pursing my Masters at CCSU and have open availability throughout the week. I’m a mom of five and had just met Brooke not long before I needed her to babysit for me. I gave her a brief rundown of my expectations and rules etc. and she did great. She showed up as agreed upon and kept my kids occupied so I could slip out the door. My kids loved having her, said she was fun and friendly! I hope to definitely use Brooke in the future, she was great!
