Hi! My name is Ashley Cox. I am 35 years old. I went to school at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington where I graduated Suma Cum Lauda and obtained a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Behavioral Studies. I am a licensed Elementary School Teacher. I have experience in first grade and was teaching fifth grade at Charter Day School in Leland North Carolina until I became pregnant with my sweet baby boy and decided to be a stay at home mom. My son is now 3 years old. Although I Love teaching and my career path, I am now switching gears to be able to spend more time with my family. Ideally, I would like a Nanny position that would allow me to bring my son along while taking care of another family’s child/children. In addition to my degree in Elementary Education, I also have a Read more double certification from TESOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have been homeschooling (preschool) by son for the past year and it is going wonderfully. I would love to use my expertise and passion for teaching and children in an effective way. I am energetic, dependable, and I do my best to ensure that every child I work with will succeed academically and socially.
