When I was a bit younger, my mom had worked at a daycare in Okinawa while my dad was stationed there. I would volunteer after school to help feed the kids, and do other needs. As I grew up, I watched kids on my own starting with family members, then it would be friends parents kids... and eventually my interest just went into watching kids.
