Hi my name is Cait, I am 19 year old sophomore at Virginia Tech looking for a part-time or full-time babysitting job. My babysitting career started in middle school, babysitting for various families throughout my neighborhood on back-to-school nights and date nights. In high school, I babysat for a family of 3 boys, each a year apart. Yes, it was certainly a challenge, but I loved every minute of it! I became a professional hide-and-go-seeker, wii champion, and snack maker in the process, and grew close to not just the three boys, but their parents as well. Since then I have held various different jobs. I was a hostess and waitress at a local restaurant for four years. I also held a job last summer as a YMCA camp counselor and lifeguard at the Fairview Lake Day Camp. To obtain my lifeguard certificate, I became certified in first aid and Read more CPR. I worked with kids ranging from just 3 years old up to 13 years old, leading them on hikes and nature walks, and also teaching swimming lessons. Currently, I am a bookkeeper for a local business in Wantage to help in my studies of Accounting and Finance at Virginia Tech. I am home for the summer, and I am looking to babysit for local families to help with my college expenses (and I love to spend time with kids, so that's a plus!!). I am not kidding when I say I love to spend time with kids. I love to stay active, play any kind of board game, and just have fun.
