I have been babysitting both within the US and Mexico for four years now. I am currently on my way to become a Nurse Midwife in the US, but have a lot experience as a doula and midwife in Yucatan, Mexico. My husband is Yucatecan and I have been living with him in Merida on and off for two years. We speak in Spanish and I can confidently say that I am fluent in the language. My experience in Oregon has ranges from big infant/toddler groups, to more habitual one on one nannying. Many parents have requested that I speak to their child in Spanish, which has been very rewarding for everyone. English is still my first language. I love kids and find childcare very rewarding because I learn so much from witnessing them experience life! I can cook, clean, and pet sit too!
