I am a patient, caring, energetic woman who loves children. I am thirty eight years old, and I have 20 years experience in working and caring for children. I have two children of my own, age 20 years old, and 10 months old. After graduating high school, I completed a one year Child Care and Health & Human Services Program at Green Mtn. Technical Center, where I was trained in First Aid and CPR. I completed several internships while there, and then went on to work in numerous child care positions. I decided that I wanted to do more to help improve the lives of children, so I enrolled in the Social Work Program at Champlain College, where I obtained my Associates Degree in 2010. I then completed my third year of college, and I have one year left to complete my Bachelors Degree in Social Work. I hope to Read more get a job working with disadvantaged children or at risk youth. I have my own vehicle, so I don't mind providing transportation for your child if they need to be somewhere, or if there are activities in the community that you would like them to participate in. I decided to provide child care for another family do I could stay home with my daughter, so I am seeking a position that will allow me to bring her with me. I would prefer to only provide care for two other children, or at most I would consider three. I want to ensure that each child gets the attention, and quality care that they deserve.
