We are a family of 4, with 2 kids (daughter is almost 5 and son is 2) and 2 animals (1 dog & 1 cat that get along). Husband is law enforcement and mom is in mental health. We are busy and protective of our children's mental health and safety with sitters. They are so loving and caring, but have never had a sitter outside of their family (big family). We have a ton of toys and outdoor play areas. Kids love crafts.
Son is 2 and potty training. He's doing great, but when he has undies/pullups on he goes poop in them. When he's naked at home--he makes it to the toilet every time. Working on that!

Daughter has a hx of separation anxiety, and some sensory issues. She is so smart.

If there's a tantrum--I would love someone who is comfortable with gentle parenting approaches, emotional support, and knows that tantrums may happen and how to use play in those situations. I can help give suggestions!
We really need an as needed date night person. With our opposite schedules, it's become rare. This could be day stuff, but mostly around bedtime.
