Youngest of 8 and aunt to 24. I grew up taking care of them on several occasion. I worked for my church in Texas with the 2-3 year olds for a year. 11 years ago I volunteered in church with ages K - 6th grade to as many as 10 - 15 children at a time for 5+ years. Currently, I volunteer with the 1-3 year old but am more involved with the youth, ages 13-17. I am CPR certified. I have a level 1 fingerprint clearance card and have a food handlers certificate. I studied half a year of elementary education and although I did not complete my line of study, I learned a lot. Because of it, my heart has grown more for children, specifically those with special needs and those who are neglected or abused. I look forward to not only having children of my own some day, but fostering in the future and hopefully adopting. My husband and I am hosting a foreign exchange student starting this upcoming school year.
