Hi! I'm Meggie and I am so happy you're taking the time to check out my page. My background with children is vast and varied. My mother owned a Montessori preschool so I grew up surrounded by children and have loved it since day one. From the time I was able to, I received my safety certification and went out into the babysitting world. I adore spending time with the kids, both teaching and learning from them. I'm active and imagination-oriented, I love listening and encouraging. I try to find new, creative things to do with them every time I come, from baking to arts and crafts. The greatest joy in my life has been watching kids I sit grow up and become wonderful people! I am an educated caregiver with experience from infancy to preteen. I adore the relationship-building and interaction with children of all ages, having stayed in Read more touch with nearly every family I've worked for, continuing to be a part of their lives even if I'm no longer the primary caregiver. I revel in interactive, engaging play and creating a fun, supportive environment for my kids to feel happy and cared for. Even as a working professional I have continued to make babysitting part of my life, as the joy I get from caring for and interacting with children goes far beyond a 9-5 job. I consider babysitting and nannying a valuable enhancement to my career in healthcare nonprofit, allowing me to see my commitment to community and care in action.
