I have been a caregiver intermittently for over 20 years. At 18 I was a home health aide for a 80 year old elderly patient for a year. From age 20 to 25 I started my family and had 4 children. I was a homemaker/caregiver for the next 1 2 years. My cousin, 38 and niece, 17 have severe muscular dystrophy. I have been a caregiver for them many times over the years. My desire to become a caregiver as a career is deeply rooted in my personality and natural qualities and skills learned over my life. I am passionate about providing quality care and comfort. I am especially skilled in providing companionship, teaching/training and helping clients with daily activities and personal care. I am reliable, energetic and enthusiastic. I have begun HHA certification. PCA certification. Cpr certification.
