My husband and I live part-time in White Plains -- we've owned our home here for 5 years, but had to relocate homebase during Covid. We still come back here June through October, and we are looking for either a part-time nanny or nanny-share with our 15 month old daughter. We both own our own businesses and work from home, and we enjoy travel -- so the schedule is very flexible. We try to be as healthy as we can, and we choose no screentime for our family.
We would like someone who is nurturing, experience, and creative with learning-based play, will play outside every day, and teaching Montessori-method style household helping. We would need fairly flexible/irregular schedule (but could provide the schedule well in advance so you could supplement with other families) as we take some summer travel. We would expect you to be comfortable feeding her meals and snacks, playing with her, putting her down for naps, changing diapers, teaching positive emotional management, etc.
Our schedule varies week to week, but we have a pretty good idea of what it will look like already. We could arrange an hourly wage to allow for last-minute added hours, or we could plan for a monthly salary with a set schedule, and you can supplement as you wish.
