Growing up, I was nearly always around children. My mom runs a home daycare where I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, so I have a lot of experience with children from a couple months old to 5th grade. I have never been a nanny, but I started babysitting when I was 11 and enjoy working with children and helping them grow academically, cognitively, physically, and emotionally. I attended Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Biblical Studies. I also have an English Language Learners endorsement and an Early Childhood endorsement. I graduated in May 2017 and completed my student teaching experience in kindergarten in December 2018. My husband and I live in Olathe, so I am looking for a position in that area if possible. I am very creative, so I will enjoy making crafts with your children and helping them use Read more their imagination and explore their own creativity. I also enjoy taking children places and helping them have hands-on learning experiences - such as learning about animals by going to the zoo, and learning about food by going to the grocery store.
