Hi, I’m Dottie! I’m currently a Special Education Instructional Assistant at an Elementary School in Frederick, MD for students with special needs and behavioral challenges. Before working for Frederick County Public Schools I was a nanny for 2 years. I graduated from college with a BSW in May of 2021 and have a passion for working with children! Throughout the past 9 years I have held numerous positions that have involved working with children of a variety of different ages and needs. Some of these positions include: nanny for toddler and baby, camp counselor at summer camp for children with special needs, Teacher’s Aide at YMCA kids club (before and after school care for elementary aged children; Student Intern in Learning for Life classroom (students with special needs); Aide at Family Partnership, a social service agency (toddler program); summer nanny for a teenager with Autism, and nanny for multiple infants. ((During the school year I work M-F until 4pm so I am available from 4:15-4:30 (depending on your location) and on. I am also available for occasional weekends, as well as date nights! :)
