My life has been all about kids! I've been an educator for 7 years, two of which were for students with special needs and autism. I've taught across multiple subject areas, including English as a Second Language and an intensive reading course. Kids have helped me become more enthusiastic, energetic and joyful. They have shown me the importance of creativity and silliness in the learning process. I am comfortable with crying, throw up, and dirty diapers. I'm definitely not afraid to play dress up, build Lego mansions, or pull out my "best" dance moves to make a kiddo smile! I'm a believer of "work hard -play hard" and "rules are for a reason."

I would highly recommend Phoenix as a babysitter! She watched our four month old while we skiied in Aspen. She took the time to learn about the best ways to care for our baby and followed my instructions. She was communicative, professional, timely and took good care of our daughter.

Phoenix is fantastic. She is currently helping my 6yo get ready for first grade. She comes with educational games tailored to his likes. She is professional and very communicative about her schedule and how she is tutoring. He is excelling. Last night he read Green Eggs and Ham for himself for the first time. I am super appreciative. I recommend any parent who wants their child to have some personalized tutoring to book some of her time.
