Part-time nanny to provide 1:1 aide our 3.5 y/o son with special needs at his private pre-school in Rancho Bernardo. Hours would be 8:30am-12:30pm, Mon-Fri.

Job Duties:
-Providing 1:1 support to a child the classroom setting, including guidance with personal care tasks if needed
-Active observation, engagement and proactively implementing strategies to support the child
-Work with the Social Emotional Specialist, Parents, and Core Team Members to ensure the strategies are tailored to the child's underlying needs and behavior challenges to create a supporting learning environment

Requirements:
- Understanding/experience with the of the Reggio Emilia Approach
-Units in or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Special Education, or Family Development (preferred)
-Interest or experience in developmental therapy methods (ABA, SIP or OT therapy)
-Interest or experience in supporting children through a holistic lens (speech & communication development, social-emotional development)
