My son needs childcare has been displaced from 3 childcare facilities since we arrived to Honolulu. I am active duty Navy and recently became a single mom. My son was just recently diagnosed with ADHD and has impulsive behaviors that pose a risk to other children in childcare settings. The concerning behaviors he exhibits are only when he is out of the home. I am hoping in home childcare will provide more a of a controlled environment for him to receive care until he is able to start kindergarten in August. Firm and clear directions are needed for him to understand.
