Seeking part-time care for our 10-year-old daughter. Current needs are early morning (6-7:30 or so, until 9:30 in the summer) and/or after school during the week (3:30-5 p.m.). Our daughter struggles with not having someone 1:1 with her to play and do other activities. She has a fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and presents with many of the traits of someone who is autistic. She has many positive characteristics but struggles with executive functioning, interpersonal skills, and being able to relate to others. She attends a special needs summer camp at the Arc that starts at 9:30 a.m., so summer hours would extend either until the time we take her to camp (about 9:10 a.m.) or if you were willing to drop her at camp, until 9:30. We would not need afternoon care during the week in the summer but are interested in weekend care. We would start with private pay but may transition to waiver-based pay at some point, and there could be opportunities to be a respite provider through the waiver.
