As a former teacher and a mom of twins, I feel like I’ve truly seen it all 😊 I’m very hands-on and enjoy getting on the floor to play, and will follow your preferences when it comes to things like screen time. A little about me… I relocated to Huntsville from Northern Virginia about 4 years ago and am currently looking to babysit to supplement my full-time job. I hold an active Virginia Teaching License and taught 8th grade for 7 years, so I have a completed background check as well as CPR and First Aid certifications. While I’ve chosen not to return to the classroom here, my passion for working with children has never changed. I truly enjoy spending time with babies, toddlers, and school-aged kids. I’m also a proud mom of twins (now 25!), so multitasking and managing busy environments definitely come naturally to me. While living in Virginia, I babysat regularly for one family and absolutely loved it. I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping while children are napping or occupied. I have excellent references available and typically charge $20–$25 per hour, depending on the number of children. Hey! I’m a young mom to an 8 month old baby girl! I’m looking for a job I can take her with me to. I cook, clean, run errands, help with homework, and just about everything else! I have lots of experience from having my own baby but also with older toddler/kids and teens. I can work most days with short notice. My daughter has also never been in daycare so no need to worry about sickness, neither of us have been sick since she was born. I make baby food and snacks homemade and would love to do so for others! We try to always be EXTREMELY clean, washing hands, sanitizing, sterilizing, etc. Always having a positive attitude I think goes a long way. Children learn by example so even when patience is running low I try to remain cool tempered and work their frustration out them because young children don’t know how to regulate their emotions so it’s SO important to help teach them
