Hi!! My name is Bailey and I am a student at the University of Vermont, graduating class of 2020. I am a social work major, with a minor in human development and family studies, and I have always been passionate about working with children. I was an active participant I athletics at my high school and was an athlete on varsity soccer, skiing, track and field, and lacrosse teams throughout high school, as well as various clubs. I have been an active participant in community service and have done over 400 hours of community service work thus far. I also have lots of experience working with children. I have been a babysitter for many children in my neighborhood, community, and family, something I really enjoy. I also went on a one week trip to Nicaragua to work in a local school system teaching children of all ages English. I have worked as a student aide in Preschool with children ages 3-4 for the duration my sophomore school year in high school, and I continued this work within a third grade classroom as a student aide my junior year of high school. Here at UVM I am part of a mentoring program that works with children living in low income housing developments. We have a great group of kids who we take out every Friday to do group activities and experience new things. I also began coaching a youth soccer team, and will be coaching another one back home his summer. I am a very responsible, encouraging, fun, and energetic babysitter with a love for kids. I'm a 20 year old rising college sophomore home for the summer looking to continue part-time nannying for any families in need!
