My siblings have blessed me with seven nieces and nephews, two of which I helped to care for during their formative years. I love being around people, engaging in conversations and learning. I also enjoy quiet time outdoors in nature hiking or backpacking. Besides my nieces and nephews, I’ve spent time with other children in my local church sharing in youth discussions and Bible study, gave back to children in my community through homework assistance and was a volunteer and student leader in the I’m Glad I’m a Girl foundation for three years. My name is Hannah and I am 23 years old. I’ve been professionally working with children for over 5 years. I started babysitting my sister’s children as a teen. I recently graduated from Wallace State Community College with my associates in Child Development from a NAEYC program. I currently work at a NAEYC accredited early learning center. I have worked as an infant teacher, a twos teacher, and I currently am subbing as a pre-k teacher. I value child led learning and teachable moments. I believe children should learn through their environment and hands on experience. I love watching children discover new concepts and explore their senses. I am creative with planning developmentally appropriate activities. I am empathetic in understanding children’s problems no mater how big or small. I have completed many professional development trainings focusing on child led play, multicultural language learning, autism spectrum disorder, and using science in play. Right now I work full time but hopefully my schedule will change after the new year. I’m available Friday afternoons after 6pm-Sunday 8pm. Being the second daughter of 5 kids I grew up as a natural unpaid babysitter. I absolutely adore my younger siblings despite all of the dirty diapers, tantrums, and messes that come along the way. When we kids needed a little more supervision, we had an amazing babysitter/ nanny, Cassie, who was genuinely a good friend. When she moved off to college I knew that I wanted to be just as amazing a babysitter as her. So, for the past 6ish years I have worked to build relationships with the kids and parents whom I serve. From girl talk, arts and crafts, preparing food, clean up, and bed time- I have fallen in love with these kids. It is my absolute dream to become a mom of my own some day, but in the mean time I enjoy spending time serving hard-working parents. I am currently an 18 year old high school graduate who is planning on attending the University of Alabama in the fall. Graduating from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, I can confidently say that I know what it means to work hard in stressful situations. I have learned that creativity and perseverance can solve almost any problem that comes my way- whether that is taking IB exams or convincing a 3 year old to take her vitamins. I would love to be a part of someone's story like Cassie was in mine.

Hi! My name is Madison, I am an upcoming junior at Huntingdon College where I am double majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education. I also play softball for Huntingdon as well as am part of the Chi Omega Fraternity. I have such a huge passion for helping children and watching them grow! After obtaining my bachelor’s degree I plan to further my education and earn a PhD in education.

I am 21 years old and I grew up with 7 younger brothers and 4 younger sisters. I've grown up in a house full of kids so I am used to the excitement and messes of children. I have babysat for years when my parents were busy or at work. I also babysat a few other kids after I turned 15, one which was the sweetest little boy I've ever met. He did have autism and it was a little tricky to always make him happy but I tried the best I could and we always had a great time. I currently live on my own so I am capable of cooking, cleaning, doing laundry or running errands. I plan on having children of my own within the next few years so I would love to get as much experience as I can with other kids. Although I have a lot of siblings and that should be enough experience, not every kid is the same. I would love to be able to help parents as much as I can because I know when I become one I'm gonna need that help sometimes too.

Hi, my name is Savannah i'm 18 years old, i've always been the oldest so i've had to watch younger cousins and siblings. My last year of high school i was an aid for a kindergarten teacher. I love working with kids i hope to one day become a daycare worker. Ive had pets since i was 4 years old. Currently, my family has 6 dogs, 2 cats, 2 leopard geckos, and 1 parakeet. I clean a DHR building for 2 hours every week day. I do not have my license but i have my permit im working to get my license.

Hi! I am KaraLynn. I just graduated from Cullman High School in May. I started babysitting in fifth grade. It was just my cousins, but they were one and three years old when I started watching them. I have also had various babysitting jobs over the years. I have worked in the nursery at church with two and three year olds as well for the past two years (yes, I will change diapers lol). I was previously a lifeguard as well, so if needed we can go to the pool! I have been certified in first aid and CPR various times during my high school years. I have had to use CPR on a drowning victim on my Senior Trip cruise, so I have real life experience. I also have a Patient Care Technician certification, so I have no problem dealing with blood, vomit, etc. I move out for college August 10th and I am just looking for a nanny/sitter job for the next two weeks!
