I studied Child Development as part of my Clemson University education and have up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications. I am 19 years old, I graduated highschool at 17 and while I was in highschool I worked in our school systems aftercare program where I spent my afternoons helping pre-k and 2nd grade students with their homework. To keep the kids wanting to learn I would spend extra time at home creating educational activities that they would enjoy. Aside from working aftercare, I am also the oldest of 6 and the oldest cousin to very many so I do have unpaid experience caring for children of all ages. Most recently my mother in law unexpectedly had a son and there have been many times that I have watched him throughout the day and overnight for her to go to work so I am refreshed on the newborn stage. I don’t just babysit but I can also keep a tidy home, it has been 2 years since I’ve moved out of my parents and into a home of my own where I try my best to make anything from scratch that will save us some money. I’d be happy to share some of these household, self care and pantry items with families I help. Aside from childcare, and home making, I also have a clean driving record with zero wrecks or tickets (knock on wood), and my car is newer so it has a lot of extra safety features that are sure to make you more comfortable with your kids traveling with me. I am open to any parenting methods you may use and will abide strictly to what you see fit for your child.
