Hence, the reason why I love southern soul food :) In my free time I enjoy making craft projects, reading, practicing calligraphy, walking the trails at my local park, cooking, and trying new restaurants. My background caring for infants, toddlers, and youth began when I became a volunteer sitter at my church. I transitioned to babysitting for various families throughout my years of completing college. During that time I gained skills and knowledge that have elevated my childcare journey. I am 21 years old and I grew up with 7 younger brothers and 4 younger sisters. I've grown up in a house full of kids so I am used to the excitement and messes of children. I have babysat for years when my parents were busy or at work. I also babysat a few other kids after I turned 15, one which was the sweetest little boy I've ever met. He did have autism and it was a little tricky to always make him happy but I tried the best I could and we always had a great time. I currently live on my own so I am capable of cooking, cleaning, doing laundry or running errands. I plan on having children of my own within the next few years so I would love to get as much experience as I can with other kids. Although I have a lot of siblings and that should be enough experience, not every kid is the same. I would love to be able to help parents as much as I can because I know when I become one I'm gonna need that help sometimes too.

I care about learning, playing, and helping the growth in a child’s life. I love to have fun but I also make sure to stick to the house rules so a child has stability in the home. I am a retired Neuro intensive care trauma nurse. I have two older children. I have studied child psychology for several years with the aid of a leading child psychologist in Huntsville Al. I love children and fully believe that an active, imaginative and creative childhood will lead to a successful adulthood.

You can call me and ask me if I am available to babysit when you need some time to yourself. I have 2 yr, 7 yr, 9 yr olds. I also do delivery food driving, so if I’m dropping off kids, picking up kids, or delivering food I may not be available. You’ll have better luck if you ask me a couple of weeks in advance, but I don’t mind short notice if I’m available. I may or may not need to bring a kid or a few kids with me.
