Hi I’m Cortlyn. I moved to AL from TN about a year ago and I’ve been loving it so far. I have the sweetest dog in the world. I am 26 and have worked with kiddos for 7 years in daycare/afterschool/summercamp settings. I also have an 8 year old sister that I’ve helped raise. I have 3 nieces I visit several times a year. In addition, both my bosses bring their 1 yr olds to work with them often. Due to my experience, I help keep the babies happy and entertained while they work. Activities I enjoy doing with children… I’ve spent several years working summer camp programs so I love finding fun things to go do outside. Going to the park, blueberry picking, swimming etc. Inside activities can always be just as fun with some imagination. Arts & crafts, hide and seek, classic board games, and many more. The most important part about being a nanny… The most important part about being a nanny to me would be keeping the children safe at all times. Also helping them grow and learn is very important to me. It is so fascinating to watch children figure things out on their own at such a young age.
