I love being a sitter because I've always enjoyed being around kids and helping them learn, grow, and have fun. Childcare has been a big part of my life because my mom is both a teacher and a previous daycare owner. I've watched her care for and teach children for as long as I can remember, and I've learned so much from seeing the patience, creativity, and dedication it takes to help children thrive. That experience inspired me to work with kids myself and has shaped the way I care for them. I've worked with children in a variety of settings, including as a Teaching Assistant at Pediatrics Plus, St. Joseph Services, and Full of Joy Home Daycare. I also gained mentoring and leadership experience through After School Matters. Through these experiences, I've developed strong skills in child supervision, communication, patience, and creating fun, age appropriate activities.
