Throughout my years tutoring at school and working in training positions in the food industry, I've found a passion for guiding someone through the process of learning. I first found this passion when I was in school myself. Academics have always come easily to me, and I found great joy in helping my friends understand an assignment when even the teacher couldn't find a way to explain it to them. I've recently realized that nothing would make me happier than to be able to help a child discover a passion for learning in a way that suits their individual needs. I believe that there is always more than one way to approach learning, and that the child should lead the way. I believe in asking questions to engage the student, and I believe my job as the tutor is not to give them the answer but to give them the tools to find it for themselves. That being said, I also have many years of babysitting experience. I think the best way to approach babysitting is to adapt to the needs of the child, and to listen carefully to what the parents are saying.
