Hi! My name is Amaya! I just graduated from NAU with a bachelor’s in psychology. I have my fingerprint clearance card as well as my CPR/First aid certification. I have been babysitting for 9 years since I was 13. I have watched kids of all ages as well as multiples. I am looking for a full time position to help a family.

I have taken care of my siblings/ extended family for my whole life. Which led to my first job as a Recreation Staff. I worked with kids ages 3-15 for 2 1/2 years. I am experienced with special needs children and adults. I was responsible for transportation, meals, administering medication, behavioral health, etc. I was also a Little League coach for a few sports. As well as a nanny for family members infants when parents returned to work after their leave.

My experience in childcare began working in an elementary school for grades K-5th. While substitute teaching I also worked as a nanny. I have nannied for a family with 3 boys and a girl (ages 2-11) and for a family with 2 girls (ages 5 and 8). I also have been a recurrent babysitter for several families (ages 0-11). I have offered overnight care but only in unique situations. I have absolutely loved and learned so much while nannying, babysitting, and teaching children. I am also currently working on Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. My goal is to use my experiences in the education and childcare to create a nurturing and safe environment for your children when you are away. My hours are flexible!

My family fosters so I have been watching children since 2017, and I've also been helping the kids at my church since 2017, only started getting paid this year.
