My name is Maria Sofia but mostly go by Sofia. The reason I want to nanny/babysit is I have always loved taking care of kids, they are always so fun and full of energy. I have been a nanny professionally for a few months and I used to babysit for my aunt and for a family friend the kids were ranging between ages 3-11. I think it’s also nice for parents to know their children are safe while they are working or having a night out. I used to intern with an elementary school nurse which helped me gain some experience working with kids.

I have had over 8 years of experience watching children! I have experience with newborn-13 years old, multiple children at a time, pets in the house, bottle feeding, diaper changing, cooking and more! I have experience with multiple medical conditions such as type 1 diabetes (I also have it myself), cerebral palsy and kiddos on the spectrum. I have a car with a clean driving record and no criminal record either! I started watching kids my freshman year of high school not thinking much of it, but after a little while I realized that I absolutely love working with kids! I’d love to watch yours!

I said it would probably be best to re-schedule the interview and never heard back. I have all documentation listed above and would be happy to show in person upon request. As I was growing up my mom had child after child so now it is 11 of us altogether. Being the eldest it was my obligation to watch over all of my younger siblings. Now I babysit because I love to.
