Hi, I'm Veronika and I'd love to be your babysitter! I have really discovered my love for children in the past few years, in which I have been volunteer working at a language learning school. I've worked in preschool/kindergarten, first and second grade classes for 2 years, and have been directly responsible for my students' safety and wellbeing, taking care of their scratches and bruises, supervising them in parking lot areas, taking them to the restroom, running games with them, helping them with their schoolwork, and even teaching lessons when the teacher was occupied. Through this I learned I have a very strong protection instinct towards all children (my priority is always their safety), am good at comforting children and distracting them from anything that may cause them to be sad, and have developed a sixth sense - I can literally feel it in my bones when a child is about to do something that can get them hurt- the number of children I have snatched up running with scissors in every corner of my school is too many to count. I also just graduated high school with honors and a 4.5 GPA and am now a microbiology student here at Cal Poly and would absolutely love to help your kids with any schoolwork/extracurricular learning they may have and am comfortable teaching any curriculum from K-8th grade. I also don't have a problem with kids with the sniffles, so if little Timmy caught a stomach bug the night of your important conference (because of course he has), I have no problem taking care of him and any extra needs he may have. Hi! My name is Hannah, and I’m a full-time student at Cuesta College, expecting to graduate in June 2025 before continuing to a university (I’ll still be local!). In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, and playing with my three energetic dogs. I was a head teacher at Little Sprouts Infant and Toddler Care in California. I also worked as a sports camp coach for ages 6-14. I’ve babysat children as young as 4 weeks old and up to 12 years old. I am an occupational therapy student at Columbia University with dreams of becoming a pediatric OT.
