Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy spending time with kids and being part of their growth and creativity. Every day with children is different, whether we’re doing crafts, playing outside, or helping with homework, I love creating a fun and safe environment where they can learn and be themselves. What experience do you have? I’ve been working with kids for several years through babysitting, teaching swim lessons, and volunteering at kids’ camps. I’ve also completed a three-class course that covered everything from understanding the basic needs of a child to child psychology, and I had the opportunity to work in an elementary school classroom as part of the program. I’ve cared for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids, and I’m comfortable managing multiple children at once. What skills and training do you have? I’m trained in First Aid and CPR, and I have experience planning activities that are both entertaining and educational. I’m dependable, patient, and great at communicating with both kids and parents. My goal is always to make sure children feel safe, supported, and happy while their parents are away.

Morning drop offs. Every evening, I picked them up from school and helped them with their homework. We would prepare healthy snacks together, and sometimes, they would even help me cook dinner, in there own ways. I drove them to sports practices, tidied the house while they were away. Study time's for certain time periods and a time where the kiddos could do something of interest: hobbies-stimulating the children and their interest in new learning opportunities, such as music/reading/bikes/swimming etc. Infant care as well- feedings, nap time, tummy-time, sensory activities.

It is important for a child to have a strong support system and someone who is willing to understand their emotions and needs, but also have the guidance necessary and be accountable. I have been working with and babysitting children newborn-14 years old. My babysitting has been with children from friends or family, and I also work at a school district as an instructional aide for general, and special needs students, grades preschool-8th. I was a PAL in high school as my elective class. I also volunteered two summers at the Boys and Girls Club of Merced during high school, and that was grades 1st-8th. I am able to help with homework, cook (specific) meals, run errands, clean, and physical activities.
