Hello Parents! I live with passion and I share a great deal of it within the scope of my compassion when caring for children and getting the opportunity to be a part of family/families in caregiving. Youth have been a part of my life in some capacity for nearly moving into 26 years. Notably, I have cared in the private caregiving sector consistently for the past ~13 years in SF (native, Bay Area-San Mateo- SJ-East Bay-Peninsula with experience working within those areas). My experience ranges from Infants/toddlers are my specialty. Experience with share, multiples, twins, and special need care in the classroom/clincial, 1:1 in home (ASD/ABA therapy trained Behavior Technician Paraprofessional). I enjoy incorporating my love for music training/painting, health education (PH) background and incredible joy for the outdoors while working with youth. I consider myself loyal, honest, dedicated, giving, loving, consistent, confident, patient, reliable and kind. I love to laugh and smile, value healthy communication and reach far beyond my responsibilities. I view my part as a nanny/caregiver is such like a village with a family/families and I hope I can find a new family/families that would humbly know how special your children/child would be in my life, on a daily basis. I have a wealth of unconditional love to give children and as a nanny I’m honored to be able and share it amply, able to assist in as a step in parent, and part teacher as well. I practice positive parenting methods, strong subscriber to 100% limited to no-screen time which stem from my Montessori roots. I enjoy play based learning, inside and out! Individual growth is the best! I am extremely knowledgeable of amazing resources (no cost and many others across the scale) all across SF neighborhoods (including the Peninsula and South Bay extremely well) to fully provide and assist to foster children so they blossom into their own individual, special selves. “Assist in bringing out their own colors.” Warmest Regards to your family, Madeline/Maddy

Maddy worked with us as a nanny full time for eight months until we transitioned our daughter into daycare. Maddy's affection and dedication to our infant daughter was obvious, and our daughter loved spending time with her. She was also very good about suggesting toys and other age-appropriate developmental activities, introducing new foods, assisting with child-proofing, and consistently reading to her. She was also very committed to cleanliness and hygiene; we still rely on many of the cleaning products that she introduced us to.

I don't have kids myself but I love them. I am hardworking & reliable. I would like to find positive ways to earn money so I can continue saving & investing. I have been a chaperone volunteer for Nutcracker program with San Francisco Ballet Company. I love being around children. I speak/write/read French & Mandarin fluently, so I can help your kids at home! Background check report copy is available upon request.

Linda watched over our 14 month old while she slept during our date night. She was on time, polite, and gave us peace of mind as we left. We will definitely be calling on her again!

I am the ultimate babysitter because I am a mother myself! If anyone knows what kids love, It's me. I know how to cook, play pretend, play tag, hide and seek, visit the local swimming pool, swim, teach swimming, read favorite books, take lots of pictures, bird watch, go on day trips, visit museums, the zoo and the list goes on. Being a kid at heart really helps to connect with children. I rarely meet a child who doesn't like me!

We hired Elena to be a full-time nanny to our three month old son. From the start she was extremely professional, on-time, and brought major confidence with all of her past experience. We love her high energy and strong work ethic. She has given so much love and support to the family already. 10/10 recommend hiring Elena

Hello! My name is Joanna, I’m 27 years old and I’m excited to meet your little one(s). I would describe myself as attentive, caring, and very silly. I like to make arts and crafts, play board games, read, and enjoy nature. I’m able to help with homework and light house duties if needed. I’m CPR certified and I have a BLS. I have experience with children with disabilities. I’ve worked with children quite some time now, I started when I was 17 years old. I’ve worked with many different families (short term and long term). I’m very flexible with schedules and I’m comfortable with pets. I worked full time as a certified nursing assistant helping the elderly and nannying as a part time but I realized I enjoyed being a nanny more than my full time job. That is when I became a 1:1 aide at a school. I enjoy working with children because I love to see them learn and grow and they’re always such happy souls. Your children are guaranteed to be in good hands with me! :)

Hi! My name is Natalie and am 25 years old. I'm an experienced babysitter with 10+ years of experience who has a passion for child care with a goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. received my bachelor's of science in nursing this past May at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland and am currently finding occasional babysitting jobs as I study for my state board exam. I wanted to go into nursing because I have always enjoyed helping people. I have always enjoyed working with children, which is why I chose pediatric nursing and why I have always gravitated to childcare jobs. My mom and grandmother owned a daycare for 13 years of my life and I was a big help, so I have experience taking care of newborns all the way to teenagers. I have volunteered during the summer at many camps as a youth counselor. During the pandemic I worked through zoom to provide one on one care with children that needed homework assistance or just virtual playtime. I have worked as an after school instructor at my local elementary school, where I am currently working. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school and sport practices, crafts, bedtime routines, and tutoring. I can also clean, tidy up the house and run errands if needed. My main goal is to always make sure children are having fun in an educational way and providing a safe environment for them. I am a big fan of arts and crafts so I always carry crafts around me in case a fun little activity can be done. I also love pets and take care of them as well! I have had many hamsters, cats, dogs, chinchillas, etc...so I am fine with giving them my extra care. I am also bilingual and speak English and Spanish fluently, and wouldn’t mind giving a little Spanish lesson every now and then. I like to her walk my dogs, do puzzles, and watch movies in my spare time. I am fully vaccinated and CPR certified. I look forward to meeting you! 😊😊

I was an Infant/Toddler Lead/Primary Teacher at a Fortune 100 company in San Francisco. I'm currently working for one of Oakland’s growing preschools in the Piedmont area. I have taught for over six years and have babysat since my early teens. I am moving toward working with families on a one-time, occasional, or long-term basis. I enjoy working with children and supporting their learning and development through nurturing care and positive experiences in new environments with new friends. I love being silly and bringing joy through smiles and laughter. I'd love to learn more about this opportunity.

Charnette has been terrific to work with. She has baby sat our son multiple times starting when he was 9mo old (He's 2yo now). She really knows kids at that age and was able to connect with him quickly and overcame any stranger-danger. They clearly had a good time together and things went super smoothly. She is always quick at communicating and getting back to us and absolutely on time. We couldn't be happier.

Jessica has been an absolute blessing for our family. We were initially hesitant to trust anyone with our 21-month-old daughter, but Jessica's warm and nurturing nature immediately put us at ease. Her responsible and attentive approach to childcare is remarkable. She engages our daughter in creative activities, ensuring her safety and well-being at all times. Jessica's patience and genuine love for children are evident in the way she interacts with our little one. We now have complete peace of mind knowing that our daughter is in Jessica's capable hands. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking a trustworthy and loving caregiver for their child.

With over two decades of dedicated childcare experience, my career has evolved from teaching and administration to pediatric occupational therapy services, culminating in the last 9.5 years as a full-time professional nanny. This unique blend of developmental insight, administrative oversight, and educational expertise allows me to support families with a deeply informed, holistic approach. I am a strong advocate for respectful, structured, and child-led development. In my daily practice, I focus on: * Routine & Predictability: Establishing safe, clear boundaries using positive discipline strategies like the "two-options" method, redirection, and positive reinforcement. * Respectful Communication: Engaging with children clearly and authentically, treating them as capable, respected individuals. * Developmental Milestones: Supporting critical pillars of early growth, from sensory-rich play to practices like Baby-Led Weaning (BLW). A typical day with me includes a rich mix of reading, music, outdoor exploration, and art. Above all, I believe in following a child’s unique interests to foster a lifetime love for learning. For example, I once cared for a child who was fascinated by sanitation vehicles, so every garbage day, we turned our morning into an epic, neighborhood-wide "truck safari" that blended physical activity with cognitive learning! Children have a way of helping us see things we over look or in a completely different light. I bring expertise, enthusiasm, and peace of mind to the families I partner with, and I look forward to supporting yours.
