I hired Sandy as a sitter for my chickens while we go out of town in December. Sandy was extremely responsive, professional, and flexible in our communications and willing to meet prior to our departure to review the chicken care. She demonstrated immense knowledge for caring for many types of animals, and I felt very confident that she would take great care of our chickens. However, I ended up not needing her services this time as my sister will be staying with us and will care for the chickens while we are away, but I will definitely reach out to Sandy in the future and would love to hire her when we have chicken sitter needs in the future.

I’m a college student studying health sciences with a genuine love for working with kids and creating a safe, positive environment for them. I have several years of babysitting experience caring for my 8 nieces and nephews, with ages ranging from toddlers to preteens, so I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and needs—whether that’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping things on schedule. I’m CPR and First Aid trained, reliable, patient, and attentive, and I always aim to make both kids and parents feel comfortable, supported, and confident in my care. Some of my hobbies include cooking, baking, playing games, and spending time with animals, so I’m happy to help in homes with pets. I have open availability that can meet your desired needs.

Hi! I’m a caring, energetic, and dependable person who genuinely loves working with kids! I grew up taking care of children in my neighborhood, which led to years of babysitting for many wonderful families. I also have several years of experience as a summer camp counselor, where I supported children in both group activities and one-on-one care. My experience is in childcare, youth programming, and recreational supervision. I’ve helped plan and lead age-appropriate activities, managed group dynamics, ensured safety in active environments, and supported children in building confidence, creativity, and social skills. I recently graduated from school, where I developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills that I use in every role I take on. I also hold the following certifications: Standard First Aid, CPR-C (Child & Infant CPR), AED Certification, and Child Safety & Supervision Training. These help me provide a safe, responsible, and prepared environment for children in my care. Outside of childcare, I currently work in a fast-paced, people-facing service role, which has strengthened my responsibility, time management, adaptability, and ability to work well under pressure. I love being outdoors, staying active, doing creative activities, and making everyday moments fun! Most importantly, I want every child I care for to feel safe, comfortable, happy, and completely themselves. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your child with someone, and I always treat that responsibility with kindness, patience, and care.

Auvin is an incredible sitter! She is caring, on time and very organized. She provided me with a menu of services she provides, her full schedule and her rate based on the job I needed. She was able to help me early in the morning get the kids ready for school and get them in the car for daycare. She also was able to help with some light housekeeping I needed done as well. I’m so grateful we found her!

Dawn has been with our family full time for over 2 years. Our kids were 7 months and 2 when she started. I can't say enough great things about our time with her. She's like a true Mary Poppins. Teaching the kids, taking them on adventures, helping at home with cleaning and meal prep for the family, doing laundry and helping out in other ways. Our kids love her, always happy to see her for hugs. She brings them surprises and kept them entertained and engaged. As our kids transition into school, they are advanced in so many ways due to the care and teaching at home with Dawn. We sadly had to let her go due to our situation changing with kids in school and mom's work schedule changing. Dawn is truly a gem among nannies, and I highly recommend her. We had 4 nannies prior to her, and felt so lucky to have found her and worked with someone so experienced, nurturing, and helpful when our lives were at peak stress.

I am a 47 year old mom to a 15 year old wonderful young man. I started taking care of children when I was 13 years old. I love children and want them to have a positive healthy atmosphere and good nutrition. I think structure is important like having a consistent routine for sleep and eating. I feel that music should be on most of the time. I was born in New York to immigrant parents from Greece. I speak Greek fluently and have studied other languages including French and Spanish. I love to cook, bake, go fishing and garden. I have experience with children with special needs and understand the challenges and joys that come from them.

Our family, especially my three children, absolutely adored “Argi.” She introduced all of us to new cultural aspects and ways of life. She taught my children with passion, care, patience, humor, and she’s an amazing cook as well. She put strong emphasis on healthy choices and nutrition in every meal and does it with endless amounts of love and care. She is respectful of other cultures and traditions. She knows how to get my kids to open up and share their concerns with her. For example, my daughter who was going through some tough times with school so Argi would always make it a point to do special little things for her and constantly reminding her how strong and resilient she is, giving her confidence to overcome anything that got in her way. My son who does not like to try new food now discovers that he likes Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. She’s the biggest cheerleader and supporter to all three kids with their sports and always shows up to support them.At times when I find myself at odds with my children lol, Argi becomes the peacemaker middleman trying to help us understand each other’s perspectives. She brings a lifetime of experience rich with diversity, intellect, and human decency. Anyone who is lucky enough to have her in their homes will absolutely value her.
