My first job working in childcare was when I was 16. I cared for a six-month-old baby girl whom I adored. In college, I took Child Psychology, Human Growth & Development, and Special Education in the Classroom. Throughout the years, I have cared for children of all ages. I am fun, loving, responsible, punctual, have reliable transportation and an excellent driving record. I am First Aid and CPR certified and have received the most recent Covid booster. I have years of experience with pets if you have any. I look forward to hearing from you about your child or children's needs.

I'm a 53 year old mom of 2 grown daughters 19 and 21, both in college and miss the days when my girls were little. They were the best days of my life! I am a big crafter. I quilt, bead, scrapbook, anything creative. I'm very relaxed around kids and love to find ways to make them feel good about themselves but not afraid to discipline them, but never in a shaming way. Love to help with homework or baking something fun and know how important reading and talking to children is! Kids seem to like me because I'm really interested in what and how they think. I've been married for 24 years, used to be a professional vocalist and now would love to spend some time and love with children.

Suzanne was a wonderful babysitter. She was patient with our 1 year old, who is very attached to her dad and I. She was also very good with our 11 year old. They watched movies, made cookies and played games that he liked. Our son is still reading the 'mad libs' that they completed together. She sent updates and pictures of the kiddos, which put my mind at ease with the little one, since she is not used to being away from us. I would definitely ask her to baby-sit again.

My husband and I have limited babysitter options and are very selective about who we trust to care for our son. Our 2-year-old is currently nonverbal, so finding a caregiver who is patient, nurturing, and intentional about communication is incredibly important to us. Linneth was wonderful with our son. From the moment she arrived, she engaged with him in a warm and caring way. What stood out most was how consistently she narrated throughout the day. She talked to him during play, during meals, and throughout everyday activities. As parents of a child with a speech and language delay, we know how valuable language exposure is, and it meant so much to see someone naturally incorporating it into every interaction. She kept him engaged with play and meaningful activities while creating a calm and positive environment. It was clear that she genuinely enjoys pouring into children and helping them learn, grow, and feel valued. Her interactions were intentional, patient, and full of warmth. My husband works from home, so he had the opportunity to observe many of their interactions throughout the day. He consistently commented on how engaged Linneth was with our son and how naturally she incorporated language and learning into their time together. Linneth is dependable, caring, and attentive. She made us feel completely comfortable leaving our son in her care, and we appreciated the thoughtful way she supported his development while also making sure he felt safe and loved. We are grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to any family looking for a nurturing and engaged caregiver.

Why I love being a sitter: Being a sitter isn't just a job for me; it's a joy! I genuinely love connecting with kids, and it's so rewarding to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for them. Seeing their smiles and knowing I'm making a positive impact on their day is what truly makes me happy. Plus, each child has their unique personality and interests, which keeps every day exciting and full of learning opportunities for me too! My experience: I've been working with kids for several years now, starting with babysitting for family friends and neighbors. Over time, I've gained experience with children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I've also volunteered at local community centers, assisting with after-school programs and summer camps. Each experience has taught me valuable skills in childcare, communication, and creating age-appropriate activities. My skills and training: I'm certified in First Aid and CPR, so you can rest assured that I'm prepared to handle any unexpected situations. I'm also skilled in creating fun and educational activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor games. I'm a great communicator and can easily adapt to different children's needs and personalities. I'm also responsible, punctual, and always prioritize the safety and well-being of the children in my care.

Kay was fantastic!!! She arrived on time, with two bags of toys. We hired Kay to help keep the little kids (ages 4,3, and 2) occupied at our wedding reception. The kids loved her and the parents were all able to enjoy the evening. I would highly recommend Kay. She is very lovely and great with kids!

I’m a college student seeking a summer position as a babysitter or nanny, as I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I currently work as a mentor for high school freshmen in math and science, where I support students academically and help build their confidence. I also volunteer regularly in my church’s children’s ministry, working with kids ages 2–6 in both classroom and nursery settings. I love creating engaging experiences for children, from simple crafts to fun, safe science activities that spark curiosity. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I’m comfortable assisting with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. I’m also happy to help with transportation needs, whether that’s running errands or taking children to activities. Overall, I value humility, patience, and kindness, and I truly have a heart for working with children and supporting their growth in a safe, positive environment.
