Hi! I love being able to care and interact with children. I have been a nanny for 7 years now. 7 years ago I was a babysitter in the afternoons to evenings on Monday's for a family of three girls who I pick up from school, do homework with, occasionally start dinner, all until the parents come home from work. As of May 2019 I have been working with a family with three boys. We are always on the go having lots of fun! Whether it’s on vacations or in town playing at the park, indoor playground/ jumping places, the zoo,swimming, doing experiments, arts&crafts, playing board games, or jus enjoying a movie at home. I do prepare meals and snacks for the children as well. The three boys are definitely family to me & it’s been awesome seeing them grow into smart young boys & seeing their personalities flourish! I still go on vacations with the boys & see them every Wednesday afternoon to evenings so the parents can have their date night :) With that being said I have learned how important date nights are for parents & i love being able to watch the little while you guys get some time to enjoy yourselves with a date night. Im available week nights , besides Wednesdays & im available weekend afternoons or nights for date days/nights. My current schedule is I am currently nannying for a family that has a sweet baby boy who is so smart & getting bigger & bigger everyday! I have been with them since May 2022. When he was just 6months old! As you can see I have lots of experience with babies to teenagers! In high school I got to work in a kindergarten classroom & was also a PE tutor for the elementary children. I love caring for the kids & making sure they are always having a fun time while being safe! Im an active nanny who believes learning through play is so important. I love getting outside & exploring & reading lots of books to the kids! Hi, my name is Kass and I’m 31 years old! I enjoy being active and outside, prefer reading and audiobooks over TV, and have a love and passion for working with children and animals! My first paid babysitting job started when I was 11 years old, and I started caring for my 5 week old cousin in my aunt’s workplace with her. As the baby became more mobile, I began caring for her in the home while my aunt worked, and at 12, I was working as an after-school babysitter for her 5 and 7 year old brothers, as well. At 19 I started my first full-time nanny position, caring for 4 month old twins. As the kids and family grew, this job began including responsibility for a younger brother as well, and after-school school pick-up, homework help, and after-school activities drop-off/pick up for the girls, and establishing a basic daily routine. I loved working so closely with the family and being able to have such a great bond with the kids. I truly enjoyed the one-on-one time I got with the youngest during the day, and loved outings with him to the library for story time, his classes at the community center, and we always enjoyed picking his sisters up from school everyday, their excitement to tell us about their day, and even all the chaos the ensued from there as everyone decompressed and settled into our afternoon routine! 🙃 I have also worked as a tutor to children with Dyslexia using the Susan Barton Reading and spelling system, and have plans to make this a more full-time career in the future. This is a hands-on approach to teaching reading and spelling, and I would love to expand my experience to include working with more children with special needs. I also currently do a lot of animal rescue volunteer- primarily involving the care of sick and neonatal kittens. I’m comfortable with cameras in the home, and have no problem with pets in the home. As a nanny, the pets were often included in our day, and some would even tag along to school pick up with us, the park, etc. I’ve been cpr/first aid certified in the past, including infant certification, but my certification is not current at this time.
