Professionally I am employed as a Board Certified Autism Technician and looking to supplement my income with sitting. Prior to my employment at a local Autism center, I was employed as a Nanny for a special needs child for 6 years (2yr old- 8 yrs old) Before this, I was a full time nanny for two years to an 18 month old. I have professional training and skills in behavior and crisis management, and have worked with children who have mild to severe developmental disabilities. My work experience with young children (toddler - 12 years) includes daily care and basic needs, diaper changing, meal prep, and creative/fun activities. Initially, I focus on building rapport and basic needs, and once I've gotten to know a child and their family, I focus on activities that are fun, creative, unique, and are engaging for us to do together. Professionally I manage behavior challenges from the mild to the extreme.
