Nanette is the best sitter we've ever had!! She is the only person outside of my family that I have felt 100% comfortable leaving my daughter with. She always knows what to do and you can tell that she's a great mom, which is very important in my opinion! Nanette also looks after our dog when we're out of town, and every time she comes to pick her up, our dog gets overly excited. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nanette to anyone!

Hello I'm Camilla, I am not your average nanny. I am a nurturing musical nanny who prioritizes safety and communication with parents. When it comes to infants, I provide helpful tips for first time parents, from baby proofing to using music from the newborn stage to support comfort, learning, and early development. Research and KTLA News have shown how infants respond to music and its benefits for early brain activity, attention, and engagement. I have seen first hand how, right before my eyes, music promotes early speech and curiosity. Infants often sing or vocalize along with music before they can fully articulate words, helping them connect sounds to language and tasks, even venturing into math. As a responsive and listening nanny, I have great success communicating with toddlers. I anticipate outcomes and help them navigate moments of frustration. As early as nine months, I teach rhythm, movement, rhyming, and how syllables connect in children as young as two. These patterns support early reading skills and encourage critical thinking. With a background in nursing and music, it is incredibly rewarding to see babies recognize my songs, then hear toddlers sing them and become engaged when I read to them. In my spare time I enjoy writing stories and composing songs that support developmental milestones. Music is one of my tools to soothe and stimulate infants while helping toddlers and young children navigate boundaries, new skills, potty training, and challenging moments. I compose songs that meet children's needs, bring enjoyment, and promote self esteem while encouraging them to keep trying. I also apply principles from Music Therapy and Occupational Therapy to support learning and development. Including children's individual interests helps build strong connections and spark curiosity. I am confident providing homework support and engaging children in creative arts activities. I bring a strong work ethic and can be counted on to be reliable and dedicated. I studied Music at UCLA and have a passion for teaching. I promote healthy snacks, stay up to date on vaccinations, and follow hygiene guidelines. I am available full or part time, for date nights, and as a mothers helper. I am comfortable around pets and have plenty of energy to keep up with growing little ones. Thank you for reading.

I decided to get into babysitting because I love being around kids and it was also a good way to pass time. I have babysat for various families within my neighborhood and I have also worked with children via a Teaching Assistant position at an elementary school as well. I’ve been babysitting since I was 16 years old and I am now 26 and a licensed Physician Assistanr. I have babysat children from 8 months old to 14 years old. I would take care of a variety of tasks such as picking up from school/after school programs, taking out to parks or various other places, making dinner, helping with shower/bath time, reading, and getting into bed. I also have a lot of newborn experience because I regularly took care of my nephew all the way from when he was a newborn to 3 years old now. I have a clean driving record and am fluent in English. I’m more than happy to call to talk and see if we are a good fit. I look forward to being able to care for your child!

Cynthia is THE BEST! We’ve been visiting Laguna Beach for a few weeks and she has been a godsend, caring for our five month old while we work remotely. She has been communicative and professional, and extremely sweet and attentive to our little guy. I can’t recommend her enough!

I love kids and have lots of energy to keep up with them! I am highly qualified and have excellent experience and recommendations. I speak nearly fluent French, some Spanish, tutor academics, and teach swim lessons. I also have experience teaching at St. Matthew’s Parish School and coaching their swim team. I recently graduated from the University of Miami, FL with a degree in Neuroscience where I was a member of the University's Swim & Dive team. I have been a competitive swimmer for 17 years and have competed in 2 Olympic Games. Although I was born in the US, I have dual citizenship to Mauritius which allowed me this opportunity. Swimming has taught me hard work and time management. I have taught/coached swimming to individuals ages 1-65. I was previously head coach of a girls' high school swim team, masters coach, and club team coach. Therefore, I am CPR and first aid certified (Lifeguard Certified for infants, children, adults). I was born in Minnesota (where my family resides) with two younger sisters (current ages 14 and 18) whom I helped care for on a regular basis while growing up. I have lots of energy and am very creative. I love to play games and do art projects with kids. I love playing outside and getting fresh air instead of sitting in front of the TV and computer screen all day. Trips to the local park or museum are always an option for me! I have enough energy and patience to keep up with children.

I have extensive experience working with children and have consistently been recognized by parents for my ability to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and families. Many families have felt confident hiring me after seeing my natural interaction with children and the safe, nurturing environment I provide. I am dependable, compassionate, patient, and highly trustworthy when it comes to caring for children and supporting their well-being. In addition to my childcare experience, I have worked full-time in healthcare for nearly 10 years at one of the largest hospitals in Southern California. I am currently seeking a part-time opportunity as I prepare to begin an RN program and continue advancing my career in nursing.

Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I have over three years of experience working with children in a preschool setting. I currently work as a lead teacher caring for toddlers and helping them learn, grow, and build confidence through daily activities, play, and positive guidance. Working with children is something I truly enjoy because I love watching them reach new milestones and develop their unique personalities. I strive to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. I am patient, dependable, responsible, and committed to providing quality care that families can trust. I am also pursuing my Master’s degree in School Counseling, which has strengthened my understanding of child development and social-emotional growth. Whether we’re reading stories, doing crafts, playing games, or following daily routines, I aim to make every child feel valued, happy, and cared for.
