I have my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Have also taken various classes in baby sign language and music and movement classes through out San Diego. I have over 16 years of experience working with children from 3 months to 9 years of age.  I've been First-Aid and CPR certified through American Red Cross. I am also bilingual. I love working as a caretaker because I appreciate living-in-the-moment. For me, there is simply nothing better than knowing I am making a positive influence in the lives of the children in my care. Perhaps the best part of working with children is that I have gained even more than I have given to the children I have cared for. The past 10 years I have basketball coached a boys and girls youth traveling team. I have very much experience with kids of all age group, youngest of 2 weeks old and oldest 17 yrs old. Hello, my name is Mayte, I am a college graduate and have an associates degree in Liberal Arts. I have over 15 years experience in caring for small children ages 4 months to 12 years old. I worked at the Boys and Girls Club for a little over a year and enjoyed being a group leader, I was in charge of a group of 20 kids and had to follow a daily curriculum. I currently work as a instructional assistant, and have experience with children from elementary to high school. I work with kids with special needs mod/severe. Additionally, I have volunteered at a preschool in which I supervised the children during play time, helped them get to sleep at nap time, assisted them at lunch, and anything else the teacher needed assistance with. Hello! :) My name is Sandra and I am a happy wife of an active duty sailor and just relocated to the Chula Vista area! :) I have experience working with children in multiple different ways and with multiple different backgrounds. I am currently a licensed Behavioral Interventionist (RBT) and an active college student (fully online so this will not affect my availability). I am looking to continue my experience working with children outside the field of ABA. I am CPR, First Aid, and crisis prevention trained. I have worked in daycares, clinics, church’s, schools, afterschool programs, and as a direct support professional. I have experience with potty training, sleep schedules, feeding routines, diapering/hygiene tasks, meal prepping, helping achieve developmental and educational milestones, household chores, running errands, etc. My pay and availability can be up to negotiation due to clients needs, but my one request as an employee of a family is flexibility during certain times my husbands military career may need it and I may need to be of use.
