I have my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Have also taken various classes in baby sign language and music and movement classes through out San Diego. I have over 16 years of experience working with children from 3 months to 9 years of age.  I've been First-Aid and CPR certified through American Red Cross. I am also bilingual. I love working as a caretaker because I appreciate living-in-the-moment. For me, there is simply nothing better than knowing I am making a positive influence in the lives of the children in my care. Perhaps the best part of working with children is that I have gained even more than I have given to the children I have cared for. I am currently a student studying to become a speech pathologist, with the intention of working in schools one day! I was a licensed day care provider for over 20 years.  I am Covid vaccinated!   Now that my own 3  children are grown  I enjoy doing childcare/babysitting in other's homes.  I studied child development in college.  Children and families are my passion and I really enjoy this line of work.  My hobbies include tennis, hiking, running half marathons and boating.  I have lots of experience and regularly care for infants.
