I worked at the Boys and Girls Club for a little over a year and enjoyed being a group leader, I was in charge of a group of 20 kids and had to follow a daily curriculum. Taking care of children is a fun and fulfilling experience for me. I am CPR and first aid certified. During high school, I worked and volunteered at a family child care facility, where I helped coordinate and facilitate activities with the children as well as help with some of the housekeeping. Then, in college, I was a reading tutor at an after-school program, where I helped grade school students complete their homework and improve their reading skills.
