I’m loving, very attentive, creative, self motivated individual who genuinely enjoys caring for young children. I find it extremely rewarding to help children develop into kind responsible people. I have my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Have also taken various classes in baby sign language and music and movement classes through out San Diego. I have over 16 years of experience working with children from 3 months to 9 years of age. I've been First-Aid and CPR certified through American Red Cross. I am also bilingual. I love working as a caretaker because I appreciate living-in-the-moment. For me, there is simply nothing better than knowing I am making a positive influence in the lives of the children in my care. Perhaps the best part of working with children is that I have gained even more than I have given to the children I have cared for. Over the years, children have taught me to see the beauty and joy in all the simple things.

Veronica is truly one of a kind. The moment she walked into my home, my 8-month-old son was swept right into her arms with the biggest smile on his face. It felt like they had known each other for years, even though it was just moments after they met. Veronica has a natural gift for communicating with children, understanding their needs, and meeting them exactly where they are. She infuses so many concepts into their day, allowing them to grow and flourish under her care. My son was always in awe of her. We are so grateful!!! One of the things I loved most was how she brought books into our home, not just for my son but also for my 2.5 yo daughter. She engaged her with such enthusiasm, and it was truly heartwarming to watch her incorporate educational pieces right in our presence. In the very short time she was with us, she made a huge difference. One moment I’ll never forget was when she was walking away and my son started crying for her. It made my heart smile because it showed how deeply he connected with her. Veronica is professional, knowledgeable, patient, and truly willing to give her best. If you ever need someone to care for your child, Veronica is the person you want by your side!!!

I have ten years experience working with children ranging from 3 months to 10 years. I have worked at a licensed in home daycare for 4 years, and have worked with several different families around San Diego for the past 6 years. I now have a child of my own. He is 22 months old, and has changed life quite a bit! In this stage of life I am looking to shift gears and hopefully bring a child into our space. If this sounds like something you’re interested in, please send me a message! I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Parents, Yissell was a amazing with my son! She was a regular nanny/babysitter 3 days for my 15-18 month old. I had gone through a couple other people and was immediately impressed by how natural yissell was with my son on day 1. She stepped in like it was second nature. She not only fostered a relationship with my son where he jumped up everything she arrived ready to go play but she created an environment where my son could grow. I work a lot and yissell ensured my son socialized, went out, learned new things and sent pictures back home. She was less like a nanny and more like my sons advocate. I say this as she would tell me what new toy at the park he really liked or let me know she'd text me if she saw something somewhere she thought he'd enjoy. She also helped us prepare for daycare and ready my son for new experiences. I cannot speak highly enough about yissell. If I could of I would prefer her caring for him full time while I was working. I'll also note that she provided so much assistance to my family in staying late some days, filling cars up with gas, walking the dog during naps, basically filling all the gaps that she can. She is so much more than just a sitter. As a first time mom having her help my son with speaking, sign language, and helping cleanup was more than I could have dreamed of. I watched him grow so much under her care. He started communicating more, signing consistently, sharing and engaging with kids.

Hi! I'm Kelly. I’ve been babysitting for over 15 years and have worked with two long-term nanny shares during in the past. Most of my experience is with infants and toddlers but I’m comfortable caring for kids of all ages. I currently work a full-time remote job with a flexible schedule, so I’m mostly looking for families who need help in the early mornings, or in the afternoons. Also available for date nights or weekends if planned in advance. I’m CPR certified, have reliable transportation, and am a non-smoker. Looking forward to connecting!

Kelly was our nanny for 7 months and took excellent care of our toddler! She is incredibly kind, caring, responsible and was a wonderful addition to our family. She was also amazing with our two-year-old golden retriever dog! Highly recommend and happy to be a reference in the future!

I was a licensed day care provider for over 20 years. I am Covid vaccinated! Now that my own 3 children are grown I enjoy doing childcare/babysitting in other's homes. I studied child development in college. Children and families are my passion and I really enjoy this line of work. My hobbies include tennis, hiking, running half marathons and boating. I have lots of experience and regularly care for infants. I can guarantee you that your children will be loved and receive excellent care when I am with them. I enjoy interacting with the children I watch. I like to read to them, play games, sing songs ect. I believe it is very important for parents to be able to enjoy their time away from their children knowing that their children are safe, having fun and well cared for. I am fun, flexible and ready to help!

Sandra was the first sitter we ever used for my 3 month old son during the time I was in night classes. She eased my stress of being away from my son with her friendly disposition, experience level, and attentive care for him. We also had a non-traditional situation with the childcare being on campus and she was very accommodating and willing to make our situation successful. I had full trust that my son was safe with Sandra and she routinely went on walks with him, played with him, and bottle fed him. I would highly recommend her to a friend and hope to continue to have her look after my son in the future when opportunities arise.

Hello, my name is Mayte, I am a college graduate and have an associates degree in Liberal Arts. I have over 15 years experience in caring for small children ages 4 months to 12 years old. I worked at the Boys and Girls Club for a little over a year and enjoyed being a group leader, I was in charge of a group of 20 kids and had to follow a daily curriculum. I currently work as a instructional assistant, and have experience with children from elementary to high school. I work with kids with special needs mod/severe. Additionally, I have volunteered at a preschool in which I supervised the children during play time, helped them get to sleep at nap time, assisted them at lunch, and anything else the teacher needed assistance with. Lastly, my earliest experience would be taking care of my three nephews and one niece all at once, I changed their diapers, fed them, and kept them entertained. I am a kid at heart and I would enjoy doing any activities your child may like, from watching cartoons to playing video games, board games, playing outside, arts and crafts, you name it. I have been hired by different families in the past where I have changed baby's diapers, bathed, fed, put them to bed, picked them up from school, entertained them, getting them ready for school, and everything in between. Since I work from 8am to 3pm I am available for after school care, date nights, school holiday breaks, and most weekends. (I am willing to undergo a background check) Thank you.

Hello! :) My name is Sandra and I am a happy wife of an active duty sailor and just relocated to the Chula Vista area! :) I have experience working with children in multiple different ways and with multiple different backgrounds. I am currently a licensed Behavioral Interventionist (RBT) and an active college student (fully online so this will not affect my availability). I am looking to continue my experience working with children outside the field of ABA. I am CPR, First Aid, and crisis prevention trained. I have worked in daycares, clinics, church’s, schools, afterschool programs, and as a direct support professional. I have experience with potty training, sleep schedules, feeding routines, diapering/hygiene tasks, meal prepping, helping achieve developmental and educational milestones, household chores, running errands, etc. My pay and availability can be up to negotiation due to clients needs, but my one request as an employee of a family is flexibility during certain times my husbands military career may need it and I may need to be of use. (This does not happen often enough to be a concern but there are only certain times I would need this and I would prepare the family I work for of when I would need to be available.) I am a very upbeat and joyful person who hopes to work for a family that is the same and create true lasting relationships with those I am servicing.

We don’t have any family here in San Diego, so hiring a nanny felt like a huge leap of faith for us. Honestly, I was pretty apprehensive about it going in. From day one, Sandra put our minds at ease. She’s friendly, cheerful, and always punctual, and it was clear right away how much our son loves being with her. She keeps him engaged with games, singing, and so much more, he lights up when she’s around. We feel so lucky to have found her, and we’ll definitely be using her for our ongoing babysitting/nanny needs.

I am a college student pursuing a degree in Astrophysics, with a focus on math. Through my experience as an after-school program instructor, I have developed a passion for teaching and working with children. I enjoy creating fun activities, playing games, and helping with homework. Outside of working with children, I am a research assistant at SDSU, where I have developed strong reliability, communication, and organization skills. While I love having fun, safety is always my top priority when it comes to providing a positive and comfortable environment for children.
