Taking care of children is a fun and fulfilling experience for me. I am CPR and first aid certified. During high school, I worked and volunteered at a family child care facility, where I helped coordinate and facilitate activities with the children as well as help with some of the housekeeping. Then, in college, I was a reading tutor at an after-school program, where I helped grade school students complete their homework and improve their reading skills. While in college, I studied abroad in France, where I worked as a babysitter for a French family. I was responsible for picking up the child from school and teaching him English. I cared for multiple Bay Area families before moving to San Diego. In San Diego, I have cared for numerous families and do after-school pickup, occasional babysitting, and date night sitting. I am bilingual in Spanish and know a few French words. I am passionate about caring for children as I am one of seven children and have five nieces and one nephew.

I was a licensed day care provider for over 20 years.  I am Covid vaccinated!   Now that my own 3  children are grown  I enjoy doing childcare/babysitting in other's homes.  I studied child development in college.  Children and families are my passion and I really enjoy this line of work.  My hobbies include tennis, hiking, running half marathons and boating.  I have lots of experience and regularly care for infants. Hello, my name is Mayte, I am a college graduate and have an associates degree in Liberal Arts. I have over 15 years experience in caring for small children ages 4 months to 12 years old. I worked at the Boys and Girls Club for a little over a year and enjoyed being a group leader, I was in charge of a group of 20 kids and had to follow a daily curriculum. I currently work as a instructional assistant, and have experience with children from elementary to high school. I work with kids with special needs mod/severe. Additionally, I have volunteered at a preschool in which I supervised the children during play time, helped them get to sleep at nap time, assisted them at lunch, and anything else the teacher needed assistance with. Hello, l was a preschool teacher for the past 4 1/2 years. I began as an Infant teacher, my students were as young as 8 weeks old and remained in my classroom until they were 24months. Then I moved to the 2’s classroom. However, I am comfortable with all age groups. I’m cpr/aed certified in pediatrics and adults. Hey there! My name is Selena and I am a full time college student studying to obtain my bachelor’s degree in child development. I currently work as a preschool teacher/student teacher at an elementary to gain experience for my future career as a school age teacher. I’ve been working with children for 3 years now!
