Here is a bit about my past work history: I worked for over 28 years for the Fullerton Elementary School District as a Bilingual-Biliterate Instructional Assistant. I began in a regular classroom setting assisting the teacher with various tasks and helping students in large and small groups. I've worked with English Language Learners from the preschool through 6th grade level. I have worked under the Child Development Services Department supervising and planning activities for both junior high and elementary school students attending after school programs. In 2007 I began working with preschoolers. I am familiar with the Reggio Emilia approach and believe greatly in allowing the child to guide the experience according to their interests so the learning experience will give its fruits. I am an observer, a listener, facilitator, and a child at heart! I also encourage children to explore, investigate and take advantage of teaching and learning opportunities.
