I was a stay at home mother and raised my two daughters. They are now 28&29 and I have two granddaughters that are 8&3. After they grew up, I’ve been a live in nanny for a few years. After that, I continued babysitting children throughout the years. I have my cpr cert. Watching children, is second nature to me.

I have been babysitting since I was thirteen. More recently, I have been a nanny to a three year old since she was one and a half. I have always been around kids and I love being around them. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in psychology and am currently in grad school working on my Masters. I coach soccer ranging from all ages. I have been a nanny for years and I love it. My experience: During the week, I work full-time as a caretaker for a local daycare facility. I was taught and trained by a fantastic non-profit, play-based facility in Livermore that values the children, regardless of disability or culture (Livermore Playschool). I have all my child education credentials (12+ ECE units) to be a certified caretaker, as well as first aid and CPR. I am continuing my education in child development and hope to obtain my associate's degree within a couple of years. I am only interested in weekend babysitting jobs, as I work a 9-5 throughout the week. Why I do what I do: I love children and I always have. I grew up in a home where my mother ran a daycare. I've always taken on the role of caretaker, as I've watched her take care of my siblings and me, in addition to caring for other families' children.
