I strive to create an atmosphere where your child is safe, happy and well- nourished. I’m patient, reliable, committed, and trained in First Aid/ CPR. Resume and references available upon request, and I’m available to travel domestically and internationally.

JUSTIN C.
I have two younger children ages 4 and 6 and she has been fantastic. She has a lot of life experience with children and brings a very calm and confident approach to handling the children. With very little direction she quickly jumped into the flow of our morning routine and helps get the children up, fed, dress and drives them to school. She does multiple drop offs and I am very grateful that she is a very experienced driver. It was always a concern of mine that I would need to work with someone who could handle longer drives to multiple schools. I enjoy chatting with Teresa and am very thankful to be working with her.

Hello! My name is Joanna, I’m 27 years old and I’m excited to meet your little one(s). I would describe myself as attentive, caring, and very silly. I like to make arts and crafts, play board games, read, and enjoy nature. I’m able to help with homework and light house duties if needed. I’m CPR certified and I have a BLS. I have experience with children with disabilities. I’ve worked with children quite some time now, I started when I was 17 years old. I’ve worked with many different families (short term and long term). I’m very flexible with schedules and I’m comfortable with pets. I worked full time as a certified nursing assistant helping the elderly and nannying as a part time but I realized I enjoyed being a nanny more than my full time job. That is when I became a 1:1 aide at a school. I enjoy working with children because I love to see them learn and grow and they’re always such happy souls. Your children are guaranteed to be in good hands with me! :)

Keisha was wonderful to work with. She was so kind to let me schedule her with notice just one day in advance. She was very good at managing two toddlers. She was patient and acclimated very quickly. I would highly recommend her and work with her again.

I’ve been babysitting for many years now, and I have a lot of experience with all ages. I get along great with kids and their parents, and my schedule is extremely flexible! I manage my time very well, and I respect the parents time as well so I would never be late. I am also a very clean person and was raised to clean up after myself, so I will make sure your house is in good condition as well!

Hi! My name is Natalie and am 25 years old. I'm an experienced babysitter with 10+ years of experience who has a passion for child care with a goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. received my bachelor's of science in nursing this past May at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland and am currently finding occasional babysitting jobs as I study for my state board exam. I wanted to go into nursing because I have always enjoyed helping people. I have always enjoyed working with children, which is why I chose pediatric nursing and why I have always gravitated to childcare jobs. My mom and grandmother owned a daycare for 13 years of my life and I was a big help, so I have experience taking care of newborns all the way to teenagers. I have volunteered during the summer at many camps as a youth counselor. During the pandemic I worked through zoom to provide one on one care with children that needed homework assistance or just virtual playtime. I have worked as an after school instructor at my local elementary school, where I am currently working. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school and sport practices, crafts, bedtime routines, and tutoring. I can also clean, tidy up the house and run errands if needed. My main goal is to always make sure children are having fun in an educational way and providing a safe environment for them. I am a big fan of arts and crafts so I always carry crafts around me in case a fun little activity can be done. I also love pets and take care of them as well! I have had many hamsters, cats, dogs, chinchillas, etc...so I am fine with giving them my extra care. I am also bilingual and speak English and Spanish fluently, and wouldn’t mind giving a little Spanish lesson every now and then. I like to her walk my dogs, do puzzles, and watch movies in my spare time. I am fully vaccinated and CPR certified. I look forward to meeting you! 😊😊

(I love cooking!) I am poised and presentable, but extremely down-to-earth and playful with a great sense of humor. I am confident and graceful at galas and country clubs, comfortable and joyful with my hands in the sandbox, fingerpaints, or homemade playdough! I can make a birthday cake that looks like your child and their favorite storybook characters or stuffies with just a plastic Ziploc bag. I can whip up an impressive costume with whatever is in the closet. I comfortably ride in cars with bulletproof windows and armed drivers, and comfortably ride the public transit. I have worked all over the world as nanny, governess, and ESL/English teacher (corporate sector, in-home, public and private schools including prestigious boarding schools serving high profile families). I have also taught children Italian and Spanish, and am a long-time dance instructor and children's theater professional. I practice yoga, and also hula-hoop, roller skate, bicycle, and swim. (I grew up in the desert and lived in the pool for heat survival!) I love trampoline, walking (especially as transportation), hiking, and being outdoors. I love singing and dancing with kids throughout the day, as well as cooking/baking, and creative expression via arts and crafts and storytelling. I enjoy volunteer work with chronically ill children, teaching them dance, drama, yoga, creative writing, and nutritional cooking. I have served other great organizations such as Special Olympics and Tunnel to Towers (serving the FDNY and US military families). I served at Ground Zero after the WTC attacks, an honor which allowed me to meet real-life heroes and learn about humility and humanity. I’ve been blessed with a richly diverse cultural experience, from inner city to royalty, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, and Hasidic homes (kosher experience), high profile clients, and stay-home moms. I understand cultural sensitivity, boundaries, discretion, security and confidentiality.

Melody was great with our 4- year old rambunctious son. She was great at setting boundaries and was able to keep him engaged and entertained for hours. She was also a great communicator. I would highly recommend her to any family.

I was an Infant/Toddler Lead/Primary Teacher at a Fortune 100 company in San Francisco. I'm currently working for one of Oakland’s growing preschools in the Piedmont area. I have taught for over six years and have babysat since my early teens. I am moving toward working with families on a one-time, occasional, or long-term basis. I enjoy working with children and supporting their learning and development through nurturing care and positive experiences in new environments with new friends. I love being silly and bringing joy through smiles and laughter. I'd love to learn more about this opportunity.

Charnette has been terrific to work with. She has baby sat our son multiple times starting when he was 9mo old (He's 2yo now). She really knows kids at that age and was able to connect with him quickly and overcame any stranger-danger. They clearly had a good time together and things went super smoothly. She is always quick at communicating and getting back to us and absolutely on time. We couldn't be happier.
