Hi, I lead a life focused on creating a positive atmosphere for both myself and those around me. I would consider myself reserved, yet in the right environment my bubbly side shines through. I would consider myself a busy body so schedules and organization have always been a big part of my life. I love to clean and in most cases find it relaxing. Thanks to my mom I love to cook and have a lot of experiences with easy meals that are super delicious. I have a lot of experience working with kids and find that they bring out the bubbly side in me the most. I have experience working as an intern at Pilgrims Preschool from 2018 to 2019. From this, I was able to learn fun activities and the proper ways to teach children from ages 2-4. From 2014-2020 I also volunteered in my church nursery, working with kids ages 0 to 2. I believe teaching and playing through art and nature is a major step in the personal growth of children! During my first nanny job I was responsible for caring for a 1yr old, 3 yr old and 5yr old. I was responsible for getting them dressed and cooking breakfast in the morning. I would then pack snacks and the diaper bag for the days adventure. After the park I cooked lunch and nap time started. During nap time I would clean and do laundry as well as organize anything the parents needed me to. I was also responsible for organizing the children’s schedule as well as looking after the children’s fabulous 99yr old great grandmother. More recently I worked for a 18month and 3yr old (now 3 and 5) and I was their nanny for a year till I started my college journey but I still babysit them frequently and consider them family! My last nanny job was for 8month old twins (now 22 months) and I was with them for over a year part time but I am now moving and I will miss them so much! Over all as a nanny my goal is to make the children happy and the parents lives easier so that they can spend the most time with their kids once I leave. Only the best to come, Olivia

Olivia is a bright light! Very engaging with my 13 month old as well as super responsible, thoughtful, and caring. She's incredibly hard working and has essentially become my right hand in running the household in all daily chores.

Hi! I’m Jessica, a dedicated, patient, and energetic childcare provider with 10 years of experience caring for children from newborns to elementary school age. I love keeping little ones busy with fun activities like crafts, dancing, park days, and story time. I take pride in building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents, and I always bring positivity and care into each day. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and have a background as a competitive dancer, which adds a fun, active energy to playtime! I’m currently looking for a full-time position that I can grow with and hope to be a great match for your family.

Jessica has been an absolute blessing for our family. She cared for our daughter Sia from when she was 9 months old until 2 years of age, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I truly believe that Jessica played a huge role in Sia becoming an early talker, she constantly engaged her in conversation, narrating daily activities, describing surroundings, and encouraging her to express herself. Their days were full of learning, fun, and exploration. Jessica took Sia to parks and the library frequently, giving her plenty of outdoor time and exposure to books and activities. She also collaborated with us on potty training and was incredibly supportive and patient throughout the process. I especially appreciated how she planned thoughtful and creative activities like coloring and painting, which not only helped with development but also took a lot of mental load off me as a parent. One of the biggest comforts was how relaxed I felt when Sia was in her care, I always knew she was safe, happy, and loved. Jessica also cared for our younger daughter from 2 months to 5 months old with the same warmth, attention, and gentleness. She is still a part of our family. We often talk and connect. Jessica is nurturing, proactive, dependable, and genuinely invested in the well-being and development of children. We are deeply grateful for the positive impact she has had on our girls and our family. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and dedicated caregiver

Why do you love being a sitter? I genuinely enjoy being around kids and creating a fun, safe environment for them to grow and explore. I grew up helping take care of my two younger siblings and spent a lot of time with my younger cousins, so being around children has always felt natural to me. I love building connections with kids, whether we’re doing crafts, playing games, or just having snack time. What experience do you have? I am currently nannying for two preschool aged children. Along with caring for my siblings and cousins, I also volunteered at Arcadia Recreation’s summer camp for a full summer. There, I helped lead games, arts and crafts, and supervised snack breaks, which gave me hands-on experience in keeping kids engaged and entertained in a group setting. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR and First Aid certified through a two-year Sports Medicine program, where I learned how to handle basic medical situations and keep children safe in emergencies. I'm also very organized and responsible—I always make sure things are clean, tidy, and running smoothly. I'm happy to help with light housekeeping and keeping play areas neat, which I know can make a big difference for busy families

Hi! My name is Abby! I’m an elementary teacher in the Poway Unified School District with a passion for child development. I graduated from California State University San Marcos in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with a focus on Child Development. I’ve been nannying and babysitting for over five years and have built lasting relationships with many of the families I’ve worked with. I have experience caring for children from 6 months to 14 years old, including twins, neurodivergent children, and overnight care. I’m fully vaccinated and boosted, a non-smoker, and CPR certified for adults, infants, and children (documentation available upon request). I have my own reliable transportation, a clean background check, and a driving record completed through Checkr (the screening service used by Sittercity). I’m also very comfortable with pets of all shapes and sizes and am happy to help with pet care while you’re away. In addition to babysitting and nannying, I offer tutoring and am often available on short notice, including for evening and overnight care. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! I look forward to connecting with your family and seeing how I can help.

Abigail was amazing to work with, she was very communicative, and during our initial call asked many good questions! We would absolutely work with her again if we were in the area.

I was a teacher for 20 years and have been a full time nanny and tutor for the last 22 years. I have worked with children that have been diagnosed with a form of Autism in addition to taking care of a 4 pound preemie that was colicky and had special medical needs. I have experience tutoring children with A.D.H.D and have worked with very active 16 month old twins. I am physically fit, very active and have an overabundance amount of energy. With my background experience, there is no challenging situation that I cannot master. I am registered with some of the top nanny agencies in San Diego and Orange County. They have performed a full extensive background check and I am registered with Trustline and Live Scan. I am also C.P.R. and First Aid certified and have been for the last 25 years. Most agencies charge an entire's month salary for top quality nannies. I am looking for a part time position with the right family. I have been working with several families that have found me through this site and through referrals. I can e-mail you my resume and several reference numbers if requested. An added note.........Children have always been my number one passion in life. I enjoy presenting them with new, fun and challenging activities. I truly enjoy watching their faces light up when they have finally mastered that difficult task that they have been working on. They have a way of brightening your day when everything else seems to be going wrong. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old. I honestly cannot imagine doing anything else as a profession. I LOVE children! Please consider me if you are truly looking for an exceptional caregiver with LOTS of experience.

We are so thankful to have met Laura! I was very nervous to hire a sitter (after a few historical prior experiences of finding nannies on Facebook); however, Laura was so patient and kind with all my of my inquiries. She provided all of the information I requested, such as background check and Trustline certification (gold standard, which I personally called to verify). After meeting her and checking references, I truly felt at ease. Lastly, and just as important, she is wonderful with the kids. She really is a "career nanny" and it makes a difference. When I say that, I mean that she takes her job very seriously. She is very intentional and focused with the kids. She goes from activity A to activity B to activity C.... vs. just letting kids roam on their own. Laura is extremely hands on and active with the kids. She is worth every penny for both the peace of mind as well and the structured play she provides the kids. We are very thankful to have met Laura!

Jina came through for us last minute during the holidays when I was at my wits end (husband fell Ill, no family around to help me w/ a newborn) and she didn’t even know us. She grew up in a daycare /nanny environment and even worked at a busy gym’s childcare area, and her resilience and effort she puts into her work shows. She is young, but yet a seasoned childcare provider. Jina listens to instructions and is clear with boundaries in the home and the ask of the job.

Hi i’m Hunter and i’m 19 years old from Vista California! I’ve been babysitting since I was about 14 years old on and off. From the age of 14-16 I’ve helped families by watching their kids for date nights or throughout their working shifts as well as taking care of their animals. The age group i’ve watched has been from 3-11 years old. I haven’t sat in awhile due to years of hours a week of competitive all star cheerleading training, school and work on top of all of that so balancing it all was rough but made it through. I am currently enrolled in Palomar college taking classes as well as working as a server at Islands in Vista. I absolutely love early morning hikes, working out, playing with my dogs , yoga and beach walks. I am a very active person, I love to be outdoors and I love to get my body moving at all times!

Hi! My name is Abbey and I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old, but in the last 6 years I have made childcare my main focus. I love children and would be beyond happy to meet your family. I have pets and love them, if you have them then that’s great. I have experience with kiddos ranging from 8 months to 18 years old. However, I’m a quick learner so if you have a newborn I’m happy to adapt to your family’s needs. Just tell me something one time, and I’ll do my best to remember and execute and problem solve so next time you don’t have to teach me again. I am warm, social, outgoing, and dependable. I’m happy to jump on a phone call to introduce myself further and explain my rates or specialties. I’ve been crowned the “most fun nanny” on several occasions by both parents and their kiddos. Looking forward to working with you!

Hello! My name is Isabella Shattenberg. I am 20 years old, and currently living in Oceanside, CA. I moved from Santa Barbara in January and am actively continuing my studies at Santa Barbara City College online. I am an artist, surfer, and have a big heart for children! I love kids and have qualified experience in nannying, babysitting, and educational support. Though originally from Santa Barbara, I spent most of my childhood in Madagascar, where my parents currently live and work today. I grew up helping at the Sarobidy Maternity Center, surrounded by newborns and mothers—experiences that sparked my deep love for caregiving. Over the past 20 years, I’ve lived in in several countries all of which have shaped me into someone who is adaptable, nurturing, and culturally aware. My goal is always to always create a safe, loving, and enriching environment where kids can thrive. If interested, I would love to meet your family in person and get better acquainted!
