With 3+ years of child care, I have experience babysitting my nieces and nephews and other kids/baby’s starting from newborn to 12 years old, I also have experience with premature infants my nephew was born at 24 weeks and came home on oxygen tubes and other medical needs, I provide engaging activities and help with after-school meals and homework and bed time. I’m also very great with animals and can do both if needed, I'm excited to bring my passion and positive attitude to families. I am looking for occasional to semi regular weekend babysitter jobs! I currently work as an early intervention therapist for kiddos 0-3. This means I go in home therapy for kids who have developmental delays in San Diego county! Here is a bit about my past work history: I worked for over 28 years for the Fullerton Elementary School District as a Bilingual-Biliterate Instructional Assistant. I began in a regular classroom setting assisting the teacher with various tasks and helping students in large and small groups. I've worked with English Language Learners from the preschool through 6th grade level. I have worked under the Child Development Services Department supervising and planning activities for both junior high and elementary school students attending after school programs. In 2007 I began working with preschoolers. I am familiar with the Reggio Emilia approach and believe greatly in allowing the child to guide the experience according to their interests so the learning experience will give its fruits.
