My name is Minerva but go by Mimi and am self-employed working from home allowing for some flexibility in my schedule. I'd love to find a PT job to help supplement my income and babysitting seems to be the perfect fit. I love children of all ages and have tons of experience so am very comfortable caring for them including infants. I’m the eldest of 8 siblings and helped them with pretty much everything including lots of babysitting. Later on, when the nieces and nephews (and there are many), I did the same for them so am very comfortable with both infants and children of all ages as well as pets. I don't have any children of my own, but currently coparent two of my nephews, 10 and 9 years of age since birth. The youngest of the two is special needs and was born with a heart defect and Read more various other medical condition that required him to have a trach, ventilator, g-tube and a plethora of medications. I was trained to care for him as well and did so on a regular basis to help my sister out because he required 24 hour care and is a single parent. It was such a huge load for her and would be for anyone. He's already undergone three open heart surgeries at his young age, but happy to say he is now tube free and doing better than ever!! He's a trooper, a true warrior and has taught me so much...especially patience, but he was so worth it. His name is Jorden. : )

Minerva has been a LIFESAVER! My kids love her, and we as parents love her too. She keeps us well informed on how the kids are doing, and she is always willing and ready to work with us. She is easy going, punctual, flexible and caring. She treats my family with great respect. I couldn't imagine managing without her.
