My educational background has given me a solid understanding of children and the needs that they require. Over the years I have taken care of children of all ages. I love working with kids and I am eager to contribute my enthusiasm and knowledge to your child. I love the opportunity to take kids on fun adventures and teach them new things. I have a passion for reading to children and doing art, crafts, and music. I have an associate's degree in elementary education and have early childhood experience as well. I am also certified in CPR and first aid.

Chelcea saved the last few weeks of our summer. The kids loved her and I felt like I was leaving the kids in great care. We can't wait for an opportunity to call her in to help again!

I am an attentive caregiver who works hard to make connections with the children I meet and care for. I have delight in watching children grow, play, and discover the world around them through their own eyes and perceptions. As a licensed educator, I embed learning opportunities into our activities specifically tailored to a child's milestones and developmental trajectory. I am blessed to still be connected with a family for 5 years and counting. As their child has aged into public education, I continue to provide part-time services during the summer.

Courtney has been a god send. From the first day, I have trusted Courtney with my children and felt a huge burden relieved just from having her around. She is impeccable with her communication and keeping me informed She respects my kids and really encourages their communication and I have noticed a huge improvement in my sons ability to express himself more clearly. I hope to continue working with Courtney as long as possible and I am very grateful for sitter city connecting us.

I recently graduated from college with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology, and I currently work at a middle school supporting students with special needs. Working with children has always been something I’m passionate about because I love helping them grow, learn, and feel confident in themselves. Being a sitter allows me to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment where kids can be themselves while also building positive routines and skills. Through my work at a school, I’ve gained valuable experience working with children with a wide range of needs, personalities, and learning styles. This has helped me become patient, adaptable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I’m comfortable helping with homework, encouraging positive behavior, and creating engaging activities that keep kids active and learning. Safety is very important to me, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. My background in psychology also helps me understand child development and communicate effectively with kids in a supportive and encouraging way. In my free time, I love staying active, whether that’s going to the gym or hiking the Incline. I enjoy bringing that same energy to childcare by encouraging outdoor play, creativity, and fun activities. Families can count on me to be responsible, caring, and genuinely invested in the well-being of their children.

Madeline is amazing! I told her she could just relax since my kids are older and keep to themselves. So she did my dishes. She is very sweet and personable. Especially great for shy kids.

Hello, my name is Natalie. I'm 23 years old and I’m an elementary music teacher. What I love about being a sitter is that it allows me to make some extra money while still making music during the week days. My availability is mostly in the evening and weekends. I love working with kids and enjoy connecting with them. My goal as a sitter is to make the family feel comfortable leaving me with their child and making sure the child is safe and happy. In the past I have been a lifeguard and was certified in CPR and First-Aid. I have worked with families with many children under the age of 13 and have experience working with up to 6 kids at a time. I look forward to meeting your wonderful family and helping you out with your busy life. References are available upon request.

I recently relocated to Colorado Springs from Washington and am looking for part-time babysitting work while I get my counseling practice set up here. I have a master's in counseling psychology and bachelor's in elementary education. I have years of experience with kids of all ages, as a nanny, babysitter, counselor, gymnastics coach, and most recently, as a foster parent for several years in the Seattle area. I don't currently have kids in my home since I will need to get a new foster license in CO but definitely plan to continue this in the future. I love meeting new people and families, so I look forward to meeting you!

Stephanie was easy to work with - quick response on sitter city and then via text. When she came for the first time, she quickly stepped in and made us and our 2-year old feel comfortable. She was able to get our daughter down for a nap no problem. Which is always a blessing. She was able to provide references from her previous experience.

I am a graduate from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, where I earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, graduating cum laude. I am currently enrolled in a master's program for the clinical mental health counseling program. My academic background and professional experiences have equipped me with a strong foundation in child development, mental health, and advocacy. Professionally, I’ve worked as a research assistant in the Cognitive Development Lab, where I gained experience designing studies, analyzing data, and presenting findings. At CASA of the Pikes Peak Region, I transitioned from a facilitator role to victim advocacy. I developed my ability to assess needs, report findings, and provide court recommendations for children in challenging situations. I also began working with children through Sittercity, providing care for toddlers and school-aged children, which solidified my passion for supporting young learners since 2021. I have been working as a Mental Health Facilitator for ITSCO for 2 years, where I provide therapeutic individual and group services to children and adolescents that foster recovery, emotional regulation, resilience, and skill development. I’m passionate about working with children and families to help them navigate challenges and build stronger futures. Beyond my professional life, I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, camping, entomology, and exploring creative hobbies such as embroidery, poetry, painting and flower pressing, as well as playing video games. In my free time, you can find me outdoors roller skating, hiking, or embarking on road trips.

Hi there, I’m Ilana! I recently graduated with a degree in Biology and am now pursuing my Master’s in Nutrition. I’m passionate about healthy living and love spending time outdoors—whether I’m hiking, biking, or exploring nature. I’ve been caring for and teaching children since I was 12, and my background includes years of tutoring in addition to babysitting. I’m infant and child CPR and First Aid certified, and I’ve gained extensive experience with children from newborns to preteens. I believe in creating a fun, nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and learning, whether we’re reading, playing games, or discovering the outdoors together. I’m also highly creative and can’t wait to come up with engaging, educational activities that suit each child’s personality and interests. With my knowledge of nutrition, I’m happy to help prepare healthy snacks and meals, too. I’m confident that my caring nature, reliability, and enthusiasm make me a great fit as your babysitter, nanny, or mother’s helper. I look forward to meeting your family!

I’m a college student who loves playing with kids. I think helping kids learn about the world is a really great experience in which I often end up learning more from the children than they do from me sometimes. I’m very patient, and love working with the family to make sure the kids get the same expectations from me as they do parents. I like to hike with my dog shadow. I have many years of experience. My comfort zone is 3 months- 7 years old. I worked as a lifeguard for a while and got my CPR and first aid training while doing that. I also update my skills every year. I’m great at helping with homework, changing diapers, making or warming up bottles, learning play, and have my own car with the capability of running errands as well. I love having connections with people and am comfortable helping around the house as needed. Feel free to give me a call or contact me!
