I graduated with a Psychology degree in summer of 2019 and formerly employed as a Mental Health Counselor at an at-risk youth residential center. I have a dog of my own named Malo, who is my best friend. During my spare time, I do yoga, see live music, go on hikes, and play with my dog. I am an aunt of three amazing nephews and two beautiful nieces. Back home, I lived with my sister and her husband and took care of their two girls ( at the time were 9 months old and 2 and a half years old) Monday - Friday and some weekend nights. I have experience babysitting kids from the age of 7-16, along with kids on the Spectrum and administering oral medication. I am QMAP'd and have my CPR certification. I love kids and if they like sports, nature or just playing outdoors, that's a plus because I love the outdoors! I am experienced in changing diapers -- yes, even blow outs, preparing meals for the day and/or school, driving little ones to school/park/errands, changing clothes, reminding to clean up after themselves, potty training, limiting screen time and mentally and physically exercising during play time! I am the older sibling to a younger sister and watched her often. When I was 13 I took a babysitting class. When I was in high school I took a childhood education class where I had to take an OSHA course along with a CPR and first aid class. I was also in charge of a pre k class as part of the childhood education class. I have watched children from ages newborn-13. I have watched upwards of 6 kids at a time which included infants. I currently have 3 families that I watch on a regular basis. I have worked for 20+ families throughout Colorado. I do not have a milage limit.
