I graduated from Villanova University in May 2018 with a degree in Nursing and Spanish Language & Literature. I previously worked in the hospital for 6 years full time night shift as a registered nurse, first on an orthopedic/surgical unit and second on a mother/baby unit. I recently began working dayshift full time in an endocrinologist office Monday through Friday. I cannot commit to any full time babysitting jobs, so I am currently looking for jobs on an as needed basis (weekends, date nights, night nurse). I started out as a mother's helper early in middle school and began babysitting in eighth grade (2009). I continued babysitting until roughly 2020 when most parents were working from home and I was working on a Covid unit in the hospital so it was best that I self isolate for others’ safety. This amounts to over 10 years of babysitting experience. I also have roughly 3.5 years experience working with newborns through my job in the nursery and on the post partum unit. I have babysat for multiple families over the years, and most families I kept up with for several years. I've worked with children ranging from 6 months to teenagers in high school. I have also undergone child abuse checks, background checks, and CPR certification through my job and can provide proof or undergo testing again if necessary. I am also up to date on all vaccinations. I also am proficient in Spanish. I have my own car for transportation and I have experience transporting children as needed. I also have experience with homework help and meal prep and am open to any light chores that need assistance.

When I was 12 years old I started helping my aunt with my little cousins and from there my experience with children grew. In high school I organized birthday parties for small children at a sports center. From there I worked at a day care teaching children ranging in age from infancy to school age, responsible for four to 10 children at a time. It was there that I fell in love with a family and became their nanny full time. At the time I started with them they had three children, ages 6 months, 2 and 4. With the family I was responsible for organizing their daily activities, driving them to preschool, activities, appointments, play dates, etc. Two years later I rose to the challenge as the family had another child. It was then that my organizational skills, my patience, and my passion for taking care of children expanded. I was not only a baby sitter for these children but became a member of their family. Hi! Over the years, I have developed a strong passion for working with children. For 7 years, I was a volunteer baton twirling coach; teaching girls ages 6-18 how to twirl and eventually bringing them to local and state competitions to compete.
