Hi everyone! I'm Anna, and I've always been passionate about nurturing and educating young children. I recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in a big, loving family with 11 siblings and over 20 nieces and nephews, so caring for children has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've worked with children of all ages, but most of my experience is with 12months to 5 years old. I was a student teacher at Hill and Plain Elementary School in New Milford for the preschool, which was a great experience where I could further work on my ability to engage children creatively. I helped plan lesson plans, assisted in and led activities ranging with interactive story times, music, and movement sessions to hands on science experiments, and various art and sensory projects. My main focus was always promoting curiosity and social-emotional development in the children, and of course giving them a safe space to do so :).
